YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) — An Eastern Michigan University graduate, businessman and the first Chinese president of Rotary International will speak at the school's winter commencement.

The Ypsilanti school says Gary C.K. Huang (wong) will deliver his tips for success when he speaks Saturday at the EMU Convocation Center. He also will receive a doctorate in business at the graduation of about 1,700 students.

Huang became a Rotarian in 1976 and has served in numerous leadership capacities before becoming president of the worldwide service organization this year.

Huang is an adviser for Wah Lee Industrial Corp. and the Bank of Panhsin in Taiwan. He's also director of Federal Corp. a manufacturer of rubber products for motorsports, and Sunty Development Co. Ltd., a Taiwan-based property development business.
