WEST VALLEY CITY — Fire crews were called to a fire at a 4-plex early Sunday morning.
At about 3:45 a.m., crews were called to 3568 S. 2950 West for a reported fire, said West Valley City Fire Chief John Evans.
Two units were “heavily involved” in the fire, and the other two sustained smoke and heat damage, Evans said.
All occupants were able to exit the building on their own. One man suffered minor smoke inhalation injuries but was not transported to the hospital.
The damage is estimated to be $150,000, Evans said.
Crews were still at the scene Sunday morning investigating the cause and origin of the fire.
