SALT LAKE CITY — Robbers stole money and a vehicle from three men they tied up at a motel Tuesday, according to police.
Two men tied up three guests who were staying in a motel room at 2475 E. 1700 South, said Detective Dennis McGowan of the Salt Lake City Police Department.
“One of the victims met up with, in a chance encounter, the suspects in a store nearby,” McGowan said.
After meeting the guest at the store, the robbers followed him to the motel room and took the all of the guests' money. They also took one of the guest's black Honda Accord, which has a Utah license plate with the number B687YV.
Investigators are seeking help with identifying the two robbers. They released of video of the two men who they believe committed the robbery leaving the store.
