SALT LAKE CITY — What makes a real man? Some give the time warn answers we see in the movies and in the school yard: A man is tough, macho, bold, fearless, strong — even bulletproof sometimes.
And while there is something to be said for fearlessness, boldness and strength when they are needed, these are not the things that make real men.
A real man is the one who makes his children laugh.
A real man is one who dances with his daughter at her wedding.
A real man is one who teaches his son to shave.
A real man is standing behind a bicycle with the training wheels removed or giving eskimo kisses to a grandchild.
In short, a real man carries the title of "Dad."
