Outlook
Tomorrow an unorganized low pressure system will drop into the Great Basin, this will kick up winds in the west-southwest Utah, increasing fire danger. Partly cloudy skies could produce a stray shower in the mountains by Friday evening, but no rainfall is expected at all. Temperatures will be hot tomorrow as highs jump to the mid 90s along the Wasatch Front. They will drop back down closer to 90 on Saturday thanks to a passing low pressure system. This system will develop some isolated mainly dry thunderstorms across northern Utah and southern Idaho in the afternoon and early evening. The rest of the weekend will be dry with highs in the upper 80s for Dad. Dry and hot weather resumes next week. - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 6.18.26
