Outlook
High pressure will build overhead tomorrow leading to a decrease in winds tomorrow. However, as the high moves east on Friday, winds will increase again especially across western Utah. High fire danger will remain an issue through at least Friday. The southerly breeze Friday will drive temperatures up sharply from near 90 Thursday to 97 degrees on Friday. A passing storm system to our north on Saturday will drop temperatures back into the upper 80s and will bring a dry thunderstorm chance to northern Utah mountains and areas near the UT/ID border. As we head into next week, temperatures climb well above normal and dry conditions prevail. - Devan Masciulli, KSL Weather 6.17.26
