EVANSTON — Three Utahns were arrested Thursday in a Wyoming meth bust that ended with more than two dozen being taken into custody, police said.

The arrests targeted those involved in a "loosely organized" drug trafficking ring that was based in Green River, Wyoming, authorities said.

Officers from various Wyoming agencies served three search warrants related to transportation, distribution and use of meth throughout the southwest corner of the state. They took 25 people into custody and most were from Wyoming.

The Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department announced the bust in a prepared statement, saying it had been working on the case since December.

The three Utahns were arrested for investigation of crimes related to delivering meth. The suspects are: Martina Caspari, 43, of Salt Lake City; Gwen Marie Dunigan, 44, of Manti; and Christina Marie Eichler, 41, of Midvale.

It was not immediately clear if the three had attorneys.
