LEHI — Lone Peak is the only remaining undefeated team in Region 4.

But thinking the Knights’ path to a region title is easy would be a mistake.

This week, Lone Peak (6-1, 4-0 Region 4) travels to Lehi in the KSL Game of the Week beginning at 6:30 p.m. MT Friday on KSL TV.

The game will be broadcast on live.ksl.com at 7 p.m.

With only three weeks remaining in the regular season, every game looms much larger as teams jockey for playoff berths and positioning.

That includes Lehi (5-2, 2-1 Region 4), led by quarterback Cammon Cooper. A 67 percent passer, the 6-foot-4 senior leads the state with 2,425 yards and 27 touchdowns through the air.

The Knights are no slouches on offense, either. BYU commit Jackson McChesney and Dakota Hansen have combined for 14 rushing touchdowns. Hansen has also thrown for nine touchdowns, putting him in the top 15 for quarterbacks in 5A.

There is plenty on the line for Lone Peak, as well. A win Friday will clinch a playoff spot and at least a share of the Region 4 title.
