SALT LAKE CITY — Alex Smith passed for 363 yards and two touchdowns to lead his Kansas City Chiefs to a 33-27 victory against the San Diego Chargers. The come-from-behind win also amounted to the biggest comeback in franchise history, as the Chiefs at one point trailed 24-3.
Smith completed 70 percent of his passes, throwing 48 times. He tallied the game's final score on a quarterback option keeper, finding the smallest of breaches in the opposing line and diving in for the game-winner.

- Ezekiel Ansah: Detroit Lions, Defensive End - "Ziggy," as he's affectionately known by fans, recorded two tackles in a 39-35 victory over the Indianapolis Colts. Ansah ranks as the No. 3 overall defensive end in the league in a base 4-3 scheme, according to Bleacher Report.
- Alani Fua: Arizona Cardinals, Linebacker - Didn't record a stat in a 23-21 loss to New England.
- Bronson Kaufusi: Baltimore Ravens, Defensive End - DNP in a 13-7 victory over Buffalo.
- Paul Lasike: Chicago Bears, Fullback - Didn't record a stat in a 23-14 loss to Houston.
- Dennis Pitta - Baltimore Ravens, Tight End - One of the more decorated Cougars in the NFL, Pitta recorded three catches for 39 yards in a 13-7 victory over Buffalo, including a 27-yard grab.
- Daniel Sorensen: Kansas City Chiefs, Defensive Back - Didn't record a stat in the Chiefs 33-27 win over San Diego.
- Uani' Unga: New York Giants, Linebacker - DNP in a 20-19 victory over Dallas.
- Kyle Van Noy: Detroit Lions, Linebacker - Didn't record a stat in a 39-35 victory over Indianapolis.
Utah
- Matt Asiata: Minnesota Vikings, Running Back - Carried the ball four times for 13 yards in a 25-16 victory over Tennessee.
- Devontae Booker: Denver Broncos, Running Back - The former Ute great had a tough start to his career, fumbling on his first carry, but is still considered a valuable player to have on your fantasy bench. Booker rushed three times for 8 yards in Denver's 21-20 victory over Carolina.
- Paul Kruger: New Orleans Saints, Defensive End - A recent addition in New Orleans, Kruger recorded one tackle in a 35-34 loss to Oakland.
- Star Lotulelei: Carolina Panthers, Defensive Tackle - Didn't record any tackles in a 21-20 loss to Denver, but did deflect a Trevor Simien pass, leading to an interception by teammate Thomas Davis (1:50 mark of link).
- Brice McCain: Tennessee Titans, Cornerback - Recorded four tackles and a pass deflection in a 25-16 loss to Minnesota.
- Keith McGill: Oakland Raiders, Defensive Back - Playing at free safety, McGill had a big day, recording six tackles, four of them solo, and a pass deflection in a 35-34 win over New Orleans.
- Koa Misi: Miami Dolphins, Linebacker - Misi had a nice day for Miami in a losing effort to Seattle, recording 10 tackles, five of them solo, as the Dolphins fell 12-10.
- Jared Norris: Carolina Panthers, Linebacker - DNP in a 21-20 loss to Denver.
- Nate Orchard: Cleveland Browns, Linebacker - Didn't record a stat in a 29-10 loss to Philadelphia.
- Eric Rowe: New England Patriots, Defensive Back - DNP in a 23-21 victory at Arizona.
- Derrick Shelby: Atlanta Falcons, Defensive End - Recorded three solo tackles in a 31-24 loss versus Tampa Bay.
- Sean Smith: Oakland Raiders, Cornerback - The experienced NFL corner recorded a tackle and a pass deflection in a victory over New Orleans. Smith got a lot of publicity in the offseason for signing a four-year, $40 million deal with the Raiders. SI regards him as the team's most important offseason pickup to bolster a young Oakland secondary.
- Steve Smith, Sr.: Baltimore Ravens, Wide Receiver - The veteran wideout recorded a team-high five catches for 19 yards in a 13-7 victory over Buffalo.
- Paul Soliai: Carolina Panthers, Defensive Tackle - Didn't record a stat in a 21-20 loss to Denver.
- Eric Weddle: Baltimore Ravens, Safety - Recorded four tackles and a pass deflection in a 13-7 victory against Buffalo. He also got a lot of run on social media earlier in the week for his facial hair. Does that count?
Utah State
- Maurice Alexander: Los Angeles Rams, Safety - Alexander's recorded three solo tackles and a pass deflection in a 28-0 loss.
- Will Davis: Baltimore Ravens, Cornerback - DNP in a 13-7 victory over Buffalo.
- Marwin Evans: Green Bay Packers, Safety - Didn't record a stat in a 27-23 victory over Jacksonville.
- Kyler Fackrell: Green Bay Packers, Linebacker - The third-round pick recorded a tackle in a 27-23 victory over Jacksonville. Thin at inside linebacker, the Packers may give Fackrell some extended playing time this season.
- Nevin Lawson: Detroit Lions, Cornerback - Lawson recorded four tackles, including three solo, in a win over Indianapolis.
- Robert Turbin: Indianapolis Colts, Running Back - Carried the ball one time for four yards in a loss to Detroit.
- Nick Vigil: Cincinnati Bengals, Linebacker - Recorded one tackle in a 23-22 victory over the New York Jets.
- Bobby Wagner: Seattle Seahawks, Linebacker - One of the best middle linebackers in the NFL, Wagner had a quality performance in a victory over the Dolphins, recording six solo tackles.

- Miles Killebrew: Indianapolis Colts, Safety - DNP in loss to Detroit.
