OGDEN — Joel Bolomboy’s career at Weber State was record-breaking in several ways.

The AP honorable mention All-American and Big Sky most valuable player was a unanimous Big Sky all-conference first team selection. He finished his senior season averaging 12.6 rebounds per game, the third-best mark in the nation, and set a Weber State single-season record with 415 rebounds.

Bolomboy set school and conference records with 1,312 career rebounds, and also a new Big Sky record with 179 blocked shots.

What’s next? The NBA Combine. Bolomboy was the only local player invited to the Combine, which continues through this weekend.

Bolomboy will show plenty to NBA scouts, but he’s already shown a unique ability above the rim. Click the video above to see all 72 dunks during his senior season in 2015-16.

Bolomboy was one of 70 players invited to this year’s NBA Combine, and the Wildcat post showed off his moves in the 5-on-5 competition Thursday. A native of Ukraine who grew up in Texas, Bolomboy finished with five points on 2-of-3 shooting, a steal and one hammer dunk in 18 minutes of the Combine’s first scrimmage.

As far as measurements go, Bolomboy finished the lane agility drill in 10.26 seconds, the fastest time among forwards and centers. The drill involves moving around the key, sprinting forward, side-to-side and backpedaling around a variety of cones.

Bolomboy also ran the shuttle drill in 2.86 seconds, faster than all posts except former Baylor standout Taurean Prince. He finished the three-quarter sprint in 3.17 seconds, and posted a standing leap of 37.5 inches.

The 2016 NBA draft is June 23 at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
