SPRING FEVER — Happy opening day, readers of KSL.com.

In honor of the start of the Major League Baseball season, here are a couple of our favorite highlights from the diamond from the weekend’s college games, plus some of the craziest moments from WrestleMania 32 in Arlington, Texas.

Click the videos below for the highlights … or jump to the bottom for all things WrestleMania.

Nine-run ninth

Utah Valley went into its dual with North Dakota trailing 9-1 going into the bottom of the ninth inning Saturday.

No problem.

Craig Brinkerhoff started the rally with an RBI single for the Wolverines (15-13), then Spencer Gothberg added a grand slam before Mark Krueger’s chopper drove in the unlikely walk-off winner over the Fighting Hawks (5-14).

It was the largest come-from-behind win in Utah Valley baseball history.

The Hawks edged the Wolverines, 4-3 on Sunday afternoon with a run in the top of the ninth to take 2-of-3 from the WAC series.

Utes outfielder not denied

The University of Utah swept its first-ever series from a Pac-12 opponent Sunday with a 4-2 win over Arizona, and the Utes might want to send the reward to Josh Rose.

The right fielder dove into the corner at Smith’s Ballpark in the top of the second to snag a drive from Arizona’s Ryan Haug — but that wasn’t the end of the play.

Rose then miraculously recovered himself in a flash and turned the double play at first to tag out an overanxious Jafred Oliva.

The Utes did all of their scoring in the bottom of the eighth inning to drop the Wildcats to 17-11 and 3-6 in Pac-12 play. Utah travels to Utah Valley at 6 p.m. MDT Tuesday, while Arizona is at BYU at 2 p.m. Monday.

Did Shane McMahon die at WM32?

Veteran Shane McMahon’s bout with The Undertaker had some people on the edge of their seats, sure.

But none of them were as close to the edge as McMahon … who leaped off the 20-foot Hell in a Cell, directly onto an announcer’s table.

Taker defeated McMahon, which perhaps makes the jump even worse.

Let’s hope the WWE has a good health plan.

The Big Shaqistotle … wrestler?

Even before he retired from the NBA, Shaquille O’Neal joked about wanting to become a professional wrestler.

The 7-foot-1 ex-center made good on his promise at Sunday night’s WrestleMania 32.

Watch his stare-down with The Big Show.

That wasn’t the craziest thing to happen at WrestleMania, though.
