LOS ANGELES (AP) — Gordon Hayward uncorked the emotions that had been building through nearly four years of losing to the Clippers.

He pumped his arm, yelled and scored 14 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter to help the Utah Jazz win 102-91 Wednesday night, snapping a 13-game skid against Los Angeles.

"I haven't won here against the Clippers and I've wanted to for a long time," Hayward said. "So for us to come in and beat them, especially the way we played, that was the reason for it. I was able to knock down some 3s, and when you see the ball go in in the first quarter like that, it's a good feeling and it kind of gets you going a little bit."

Derrick Favors added 22 points, Rodney Hood 13, and Rudy Gobert had 10 points and 11 rebounds as the Jazz topped 100 points for just the second time this season while ending a two-game losing streak.

Blake Griffin had 40 points — two off his career high — and 12 rebounds for the Clippers, who fell to 7-8 with their seventh loss in eight games. They had not been beaten by the Jazz since Jan. 17, 2012, their longest winning streak against any opponent in franchise history.

"We should be better than this," Griffin said. "It's frustrating. It's hard to pinpoint and say exactly what to do. We got to stay together and not get too down."

Chris Paul added 24 points and eight assists, and DeAndre Jordan had 11 rebounds.

Leading by five, the Jazz opened the fourth on an 18-7 run to stretch their lead to 91-75. Hayward and Gobert combined to score the team's first 16 points before Favors capped the spurt with a basket.

"We just picked up the energy," Favors said. "They tried to be physical with us, and we just came back and were physical with them. We stayed together as a team, Gordon hit a lot of big shots and we got stops on the defensive end."

Raul Neto finished with 10 points and six assists.

The Clippers were 9 of 16 shooting in the fourth and committed eight turnovers while the Jazz scored nearly every time down the floor. Starters Jordan, Wesley Johnson and J.J. Redick were all held to single digits. Redick made his first and only field goal of the game on a 3-pointer during Utah's decisive run.

"We need everybody," Paul said. "We got to fix it because it's just not right. We're better than this."

Utah twice led by nine in the third, both times during a 16-4 run that gave them a 64-55 lead. Neto scored seven points and Favors added four. Neto and Favors had 10 points apiece in the period.

"It's one game, so I don't think you can take too much from it, but it's definitely a confidence booster for us as a team," Hayward said.

Los Angeles cut its deficit to 73-68 on a jumper by Griffin going into the fourth. He scored 13 in the quarter.

Neither team led by more than six points in the first half, when it was tied 45-all at the break. Griffin and Hayward were their teams' only double-figure scorers.
