(10/9/2015 8:33 p.m.) UPDATE: Officials report they have found George Jolley alive. No other details surrounding how or where he was found have been made available at this time. ANTIMONY, Garfield County — Officials are asking for the public's help in locating an 89-year-old man who went missing while elk hunting Thursday.
George Jolley of Antimony left his home Thursday at 9 a.m. to go elk hunting in Antimony Canyon, according to Garfield County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Cheryl Church. He has not been heard from since and suffers from dementia, Church said.
Search and rescue teams from Garfield and Wayne Counties are currently searching for Jolley near Antimony and Escalante. The Sevier County Sheriff's Office and a state helicopter are also assisting in the search.
Jolley was last seen driving a black Jeep Wrangler with a tan top and license plate number 815VBN.
