NEW YORK CITY — The city that never sleeps carries a rich architectural history, much of which can now be seen in a totally awesome new video.

A video, which depicts 515 years of history in just 52 seconds, will be shown as a "seemingly three-dimensional time-lapse" projected onto the elevator walls that will carry passengers to the observatory of the new 1 World Trade Center, according to The New York Times.

As the elevator rises, so does the growth of all the historical landmarks our vagabond shoes are longing to stray to.

The white noise of busy city streets and the old boats at the harbor will take you sailing through time and remind you why our ancestors came to this beautiful land.

A haunting vision of the old 1 World Trade Center north tower can be seen at 31 seconds, only to disappear moments later, the Times reported.

In my humble opinion, this video serves as a beautiful tribute to our country and is nothing less than emotional.
