SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Jalen Moore scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds as Utah State routed San Jose State 76-54 on Wednesday night.

Utah State (15-10, 8-5 Mountain West) now has won its last 17 games with San Jose State and 37 of its past 41. The team now has won three straight following back-to-back losses to San Diego State and Boise State.

San Jose State (2-23, 0-13) took an early 4-0 lead on a layup by Isaac Thornton and a jumper by Darryl Gaynor II and maintained it for more than 11 minutes before Moore gave Utah State the lead, 14-13, on a layup with 8:25 to play in the first half. By intermission the Aggies had pushed the lead to 13 points, 40-27.

Chris Smith added 17 points for Utah State, which shot 54 percent from the field (27 of 50).

Jaleel Williams scored 20 points to lead the Spartans.
