SALT LAKE CITY — The Jazz have signed Trey Burke and Rudy Gobert, locking up their two top draft picks from this year's draft.

Burke was the ninth pick and acquired by the Jazz from Minnesota on draft night using the 14th and 21st picks. Burke is a 20-year-old from Michigan.

The ninth pick is slotted to make $2,032,300 million in the first year and will escalate to $2.2 in the third year. The exact terms weren't released. The deal will probably be in the area of $1.9 to $2.2 million in reality.

The Gobert signing has cleared the way to allow him to participate in the 2013 Orlando Pro Summer League.

Gobert is expected to play in the Summer League, which starts Sunday. The exact terms of the deal weren't released, per team policy. The rookie scale is set at $899,000 for the rookie year and goes up to $979,000 in year three. Like Burke's deal, it will probably involve an extra 10 to 20 percent somewhere in the deal.

The 27th selection in the draft was acquired by the Jazz in a draft day trade that sent the 46th pick and cash to the Denver Nuggets.

Raul Neto, the Jazz's other draft pick, is expected to remain overseas for at least one more season.
