CLEVELAND (AP) — Jalen Hayes scored 15 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to help lead Oakland to a 67-57 win over Cleveland State on Saturday.

Percy Gibson and Martez Walker each added 14 points and Kahlil Felder had 13 points and 11 assists for Oakland (17-8, 9-3 Horizon League) which has won six games in a row.

The Golden Grizzlies led 52-48 with 6:26 left, but created some breathing room down the stretch. Gibson made three layups which highlighted an 8-4 scoring run, and Walker buried a 3-pointer with 40 seconds to go which made it 64-54. Felder added two free throws on the ensuing possession, to effectively ice the game.

Demonte Flannigan had 19 points and 12 boards to lead Cleveland State (7-18, 2-10), which was honoring former guard Norris Cole by retiring his number 30 jersey. Kenny Carpenter added 13 points for the Vikings.
