PROVO, Utah (AP) — Tyler Haws and Kyle Collinsworth both scored 19 points and Eric Mika added 15 as Brigham Young rolled past Prairie View A&M 100-52 Wednesday night.

The Cougars (8-3) jumped out to a 25-10 lead midway through the first half sparked by six baskets from Haws, including a trio of 3-pointers. After leading by 18 at the break, BYU held the Panthers scoreless over an eight-minute span in the second half as they stormed out to a 76-37 lead.

BYU shot a blistering 61.4 percent from the field and was 10 of 14 from beyond the arc. Anson Winder scored 11 points for the Cougars and Nate Austin had eight with 11 rebounds. Matt Carlino dished out seven assists as BYU finished with a total of 27.

Prairie View A&M (2-7) finished 19 of 65 on field goal attempts (29.2 percent) and was led by Hershey Robinson with 12 points.
