ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — The Utah Highway Patrol says three men killed when the SUV they were in rolled over north of St. George were not wearing seat belts.

The Deseret News (http://bit.ly/2qgTyKo) reports troopers said an additional passenger — and the only occupant wearing a seat belt — escaped with minor injuries. The southbound Dodge Durango they were in left Route 18 and rolled late Saturday morning.

The UHP said the 21-year-old driver Michael James of St. George and 26-year-old passenger Jason Fahsel died at the scene after both were ejected. Another passenger, 22-year-old Timothy Fahsel of St. George, was also ejected. He was airlifted to Dixie Regional Medical Center where he later died.

The newspaper reported that troopers said speed is being considered as a factor in their investigation.
