HOUMA, La. (AP) — South Louisiana authorities say a lost wallet landed three Utah men in jail on drug charges.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Jerry Larpenter says the wallet was found at a hotel and turned in to the sheriff's office. It held a driver's license — and crystal meth.

He says deputies went to the hotel and found the men with more drugs in their room, including prescription drugs and marijuana.

A news release says Jacob Meservey and Brennen Orr, both 22 of Spanish Fork, Utah, and 21-year-old Treyton Davis of Mapleton, Utah, were arrested Friday on a variety of drug possession charges. They were being held Sunday in lieu of $25,000 bond.

Larpenter's spokesman, Maj. Malcolm Wolfe, says he doesn't know whether the men have attorneys who could comment.
