COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A northern Idaho prosecutor says no criminal charges will be filed in the drowning of a teenager in Lake Coeur d'Alene that occurred last year.
The Spokesman-Review (http://bit.ly/2a4vcu6 ) reports that 16-year-old Reginald J. Nault either fell or jumped from a boat with two other teenagers going more than 50 mph. His body was found nearly two weeks later.
Boundary County Prosecutor Jack Douglas said in a prepared statement that he spoke to investigators and Nault's family before making his determination not to file charges.
Douglas added that the accident remains a horrible tragedy.
