PLEASANT VIEW, Utah (AP) — A brush fire in Pleasant View that caused the evacuation of more than two dozen homes is close to being fully contained.
Fire officials say the 89-acre blaze was 85 percent contained Saturday and all evacuations have been lifted.
The say it could be completely contained by the end of the day.
No structures are currently threatened.
Initially, 25 homes were evacuated after the fire started in a field just before 5 p.m. Friday.
North View District fire Chief Dave Wade says two homes were damaged. Two sheds were also burned.
