BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A 19-year-old Boise man has died after crashing into rocks on shore while riding an inner tube being pulled by a boat at Lucky Peak Reservoir.

The Ada County Coroner's Office on Tuesday in a statement says Armin Cehic died of a skull fracture in a boating accident.

The Ada County Sheriff's Office says Cehic's father was driving the boat pulling the inner tube carrying his son and another man at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say the inner tube swung toward shore and Cehic let go of the inner tube and hit rocks.

Police say the other man remained on the inner tube that cushioned the impact and avoided injury.

People on the boat began life-saving measures and paramedics took over when the boat reached shore.

Cehic was pronounced dead a short time later at a local hospital.
