WALLKILL, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the deaths of three people, possibly including two children, at a mobile home park in upstate New York as an apparent murder-suicide.

State police tell The Times-Herald Record (http://bit.ly/27UBfZ7 ) that the bodies were found Thursday evening in the town of Wallkill.

Neighbors tell the newspaper that they heard screams coming from the house. They say the mother had come home from work to find her two children and their father dead. State police did not release their names.

Neighbors say the father was a retired police officer.

No other information was immediately available. The investigation is ongoing.
