CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — A Nampa man convicted of sexually abusing children in his home for several years has been sentenced to serve 15 years to life in prison.
KIVI-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1T8rED9 ) that Arion Lee Diaz was sentenced Thursday on several charges, including lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor and sexual abuse.
Police say Diaz had sexually assaulted six children, ages 8 to 14, at his Nampa home over the course of several years starting in October 2010. They say he manipulated the victims into performing sex acts on him and each other.
Diaz was indicted on the charges by a grand jury last July.
He has been ordered to register as a sex offender.
