WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — A fugitive considered armed and dangerous remains on the run after evading capture in Salt Lake County.

KUTV in Salt Lake City reports (http://bit.ly/1R3dJzP) that West Valley City police say 43-year-old Christopher McMillan rammed a police cruiser Saturday night, causing one officer to suffer minor injuries.

West Valley City police Lt. Dalan Taylor says detectives seeking McMillan spotted him and began to follow his car.

Taylor says McMillan than pulled over, pushed two women out and drove off.

Despite police spiking the tires, McMillan continued to flee.

He ended up in Magna, where he allegedly hit a Unified police car.

Authorities called off the chase because of dangerous speeds.

McMillan, who was put on probation in July, was recently arrested on new charges in Summit County.
