COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — Midlands Technical College is holding a resource fair and information session for veterans and active duty military service members.
Wednesday's event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the school's northeastern campus on 151 Powell Rd. in Columbia.
Speakers will discuss the college's academic programs, its training courses that are approved for VA benefits and some scholarships that veterans may apply for.
College officials say there are some 1,000 veterans enrolled at Midlands Tech, and there are more than $100,000 in scholarship funds available to both veterans and active duty service members.
