WAILUKU, Hawaii (AP) — A woman is accused of fatally stabbing a man at a Maui mental health residence.

The Maui News reports (http://bit.ly/1NajtTD) that court documents say 57-year-old David Kecxon told a police officer who arrived on scene that Taliah Nelson stabbed him Sunday night.

Kecxon and Nelson were staying in neighboring units in an unsupervised adult group home for the mentally ill. Maui County property tax records say Mental Health Kokua runs the residence.

Nelson's bail has been set at $1 million. She faces a second-degree murder charge.

A preliminary hearing was set for Friday.
