Students hospitalized with dehydration during concert

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say more than a dozen South Florida high school students were hospitalized after showing signs of dehydration at an outdoor event.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel (http://goo.gl/q3ecYA ) reports that rescuers with the Coral Springs Fire Department transported 14 Coral Springs High School students to two different hospitals Thursday afternoon. Officials say the students became overheated during an outdoor concert toward the end of the school day.

The fire department reports that 11 other students were evaluated but declined to be taken to a hospital.
