CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — In a story Oct. 5 about a former employee at a Concord school who was charged with sexual assault, The Associated Press reported erroneously the suspect's job at the school. Donald Levesque was an assistant, not a teacher.
A corrected version of the story is below:
Ex-school employee, coach charged with sexual assault
Ex-school employee, coach charged with sexual assault involving students
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A former school assistant and football coach has been charged with sexually assaulting a student and making child pornography.
Donald Levesque of Concord has been in custody since his arrest on Thursday. The former employee at Shaker Road School is accused of assaulting a student who was 13 at the time.
The charges say the incidents occurred in 2013 and 2014 off school grounds. The 30-year-old Levesque is charged with felonious sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and manufacturing child sexual abuse images. He's being held on $60,000 bail.
In a letter to parents, Shaker Road headmaster Doug Hicks said Levesque hasn't been at the school since early 2014. He says the charges are "devastating" to the school.
It could not immediately be learned if Levesque had a lawyer.
