KEARNS, Utah (AP) — Police say a driver in Kearns has died after hitting another vehicle head-on and then crashing into a house.
KSL-TV in Salt Lake City reports (http://bit.ly/1STf9vJ) that a man driving an SUV struck a pickup truck with a man and woman inside on Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say the man left the scene but the occupants of the car followed him. They say he hit poles and a parked car.
The man kept driving until he hit a home, suffering fatal injuries.
Although the homeowner was present, police say nobody inside was injured.
Police are trying to determine if alcohol was a factor.
They have not released the driver's identity.
