LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have released the names of a husband and wife found dead inside a Las Vegas home from a murder-suicide.

The Las Vegas Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1dG6aQo) that the Clark County Coroner's Office on Saturday identified the bodies of 49-year-old Gregory Russell and 61-year-old Paula Russell.

Las Vegas police were called Wednesday to the couple's home near Elton Avenue and Jones Boulevard.

Police say it appears Paula Russell shot her husband in the face and then turned the gun on herself.

Authorities say Gregory Russell's death marks the 57th homicide in the Las Vegas area this year.
