DENVER (AP) — The nephew of a homicide victim was fatally shot Saturday as people gathered to form a procession to drive to the funeral.
Denver police say the dead man was related to Abdul Rahim Muhammad, who was shot and killed in his yard earlier this month.
The shooting happened outside the Denver Gospel Hall, two blocks from Muhammad's home.
According to the Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/l9eqn4d ), the delayed procession re-formed for its trip to Fairmount Cemetery while police investigated the latest shooting.
