WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — West Point cadets are taking part in a parachute competition with other service academies this weekend.
The U.S. Military Academy is hosting the second annual Inter-Service Academy Parachute Team Meet through Sunday. Cadets are competing against teams from the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Air Force Academy for accuracy and speed.
Parachutists will be landing on The Plain, the grassy field where West Point cadets march.
The three-day event is open to the public.
