SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) — Police say a third victim has died following shootings at a Southern California nightclub and a nearby gas station that investigators say involved rival gangs.
San Bernardino police Lt. Rich Lawhead said Thursday that the man died at a hospital of gunshot wounds. His name hasn't been released.
Twenty-eight-year-old Petetrial Michael Scott and 36-year-old Jerry Jamale Jackson were killed in the shootings early Wednesday at Stinger's nightclub and minutes later at a gas station a quarter-mile away.
Four others are hurt, including a woman who remains in extremely critical condition.
Lawhead says detectives have identified a suspected shooter but no arrests have been made. Officers served several search warrants Wednesday night.
The lieutenant says Stinger's has been the scene of past gang activity and the shootings were gang-related.
