HONOLULU (AP) — A Honolulu-bound Hawaiian Airlines flight from Sacramento had to be diverted to Oakland because of a mechanical issue.
Hawaiian Airlines spokesman Huy Vo says Flight 19 left Sacramento at 9:09 a.m. Wednesday. There was an indication of a mechanical issue in the system that supplies conditioned air to the cabin pressurization system.
As a precaution, the captain decided to divert to Oakland International Airport.
The flight arrived in Oakland at 11:58 a.m. and a ground crew worked to resolve the issue.
Vo says the flight departed Oakland at 1:40 p.m.
