RENO, Nev. (AP) — Reno police are investigating the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a car in accident that shut down part of North Virginia Street during the morning commute.
No details have been released about the victim who was hit and killed in a crosswalk in front of the Bonanza Casino about 5 a.m. Monday.
Police say the driver is cooperating with investigators.
Virginia Street was expected to remain closed for several hours between Parr Boulevard and Panther Drive.
