Grain higher, livestock mostly lower

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for Sept delivery was up 17.25 cents to $5.515 a bushel; Dec corn was 6.5 cents higher at $3.6875 a bushel; Dec oats were unchanhed at $3.3075 a bushel; while Nov soybeans gained 20.5 cents to $10.79 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork mostly lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct live cattle was .50 cent lower at $1.5550 a pound; Sep feeder cattle was .90 cent lower at 2.19 a pound; Oct lean hogs gained .28 cent to $1.0310 a pound.
