Maven Attends International Air and Space Fair, FIDAE 2014
ROCKVILLE, Md., April 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Maven Engineering, a
wholesale distributor of complex machined parts to customers in the
railroad and defense industries, attended the 18th biannual
International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE) in Santiago, Chile, March 25
- 30, 2014. FIDAE is Latin America's largest airshow with more than
40,000 attendees.
FIDAE provided an opportunity for aerospace and defense industry
experts from around the world to meet, connect and work together and
acted as gateway for companies to enter the Latin American market.
Attendees from around the world included military leaders and
officers, government authorities, directors of civil aviation, airline
presidents and more. Maven representatives met with the U.S.
Ambassador to Chile among other industry leaders to discuss industry
trends and insights.
"The show was a great avenue to introduce our company and our products
to those in the Latin American market," said Maven President, Kavita
Dawson. "We provide the widest inventories of machined parts available
in the industry and were able to showcase several of the parts during
the show."
Maven's Defense division supplies more than 4,000 parts to the Army,
Air Force and Navy branches of the military with customers around the
world including the United States Government, international militaries
and Original Equipment Manufacturers.
"FIDAE helped us communicate our efforts to a new audience. The
interest and response has been great and we're looking forward to
working with new clients as a result of the FIDAE show," said Dawson.
