CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery was up 6.5 cents to $5.22 a bushel; December corn was 3.25 cents higher at $3.9675 a bushel; December oats were 2.25 cents higher at 2.1825 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 8.75 cents to 8.93 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle was .35 cent lower at $1.29875 a pound; November feeder cattle was .90 cent lower at $1.72625 a pound; December lean hogs gained .70 cent to $.6542 a pound.
