CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures mixed Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery was 1.50 cents lower at $4.9460 a bushel; December corn was 1.50 cents lower at $3.7660 a bushel; December oats were 2 cents higher at $2.42 bushel; while November soybeans 4.50 cents higher at 9.4760 cents a bushel.
Beef higher and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .83 cent higher at $1.4730 a pound; August feeder cattle was 1.38 cents higher at $2.1285 a pound; October lean hogs gained .09 cent higher to $.6700 a pound.
