LAS VEGAS (AP) — A man charged with operating an illegal online poker site that accepted the digital currency bitcoin has pleaded guilty.

The Las Vegas Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1RheeJV) 36-year-old Bryan Micon will not be sentenced to any jail time as part of the plea he entered Monday morning in Clark County District Court to operating an unlicensed interactive gaming system.

Authorities said the Las Vegas man operated the site "Seals with Clubs." After agents served a search warrant at his home in February, Micon traveled to the island nation of Antigua. He surrendered last month.

The newspaper says Micon also agreed to pay a $25,000 fine and surrender cash and items seized during the case. The plea deal also allows the felony to be downgraded to a misdemeanor if Micon completes his probation.
