CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lower Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery was off 12.40 cents to $5.83 a bushel; September corn was 9.20 cents lower at $4.1720 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $2.7425 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 28.20 cents at 9.8640 cents a bushel.
Beef was higher and pork higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
August live cattle was .25 cent higher at $1.50.75 a pound; August feeder cattle was .9813 cent higher at $2.1795 a pound; August lean hogs gained 1.15 cent to $.7988 a pound.
