MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — The owner of an Idaho mobile home park must pay damages to residents who went more than 90 days without potable drinking water. The Lewiston Tribune reports 140 residents filed a class-action lawsuit last year against the owner of the Syringa Mobile Home Park in Moscow. The owner, Magar Magar, can't close the park for at least the next year and must pay $2,000 per home to all current park residents.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Boise police say a man is dead after fleeing an attempted traffic stop. Officers tried to stop the man after seeing him recklessly driving an SUV early Saturday. The motorist accelerated and officers later saw the SUV crashed into a building.

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Interior Secretary Sally Jewell has signed an agreement to end longstanding water disputes between the federal government and the Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of the Duck Valley Indian Reservation on the Nevada-Idaho line. The agreement signed Friday by Jewell guarantees water rights for the tribes while providing certainty for upstream water users of the East Fork of the Owyhee River.

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho lawmakers are considering legislation decriminalizing cannabis extract oil while not loosening marijuana laws. "Alexis' Law' was sparked by a Boise family who has watched their 10-year-old daughter struggle with epilepsy marked by seizures. Clare Carey says that the oil has shown to reduce the amount and duration of seizures in children with epilepsy. Carey is prohibited from possessing the oil because of Idaho law.
