MANTI -- Ariel Hampton pleaded guilty to reduced charges of child abuse homicide and obstruction of justice. She was sentenced to consecutive prison terms of one to 15 years.
In May, Hampton told Centerfield police her daughter Kirsten Anderson had been found face down in a wading pool and appeared to have drowned.
But doctors were immediately suspicious and determined the child had been beaten.
Hampton was later arrested and charged with her daughter's death.
