CLINTON -- A brick through a car windshield in Clinton led to the arrests of five young men believed to be involved in hundreds of criminal mischief cases in Davis and Weber counties.
Police tracked a suspect vehicle in the brick-throwing case to Syracuse and arrested Jeffrey Jensen and Trevor McClintock, both 18, as well as 19-year-old Brandon Berry, 18-year-old Colby Hardson, and a 17-year-old juvenile male.
Clearfield police say they admitted to several vehicle burglaries and to damaging vehicles by breaking out windows with rocks, BB guns, pumpkins and other items.
Detectives say their crime spree began around the first of September and caused between $100,000 and $200,000 in damage.
The juvenile who was arrested was later released to his parents.
