WEST VALLEY CITY -- Gunshots rattled residents of a West Valley City apartment complex.

Witnesses tell police a dark-colored Honda and a white or silver Suburban pulled into the parking lot of Boulder Pines Apartments at 4040 S. 1535 West around 10:00 Wednesday night.

Seven shots were fired from the car into the Suburban. When police arrived they found shell casings but not the vehicles involved.

There's no evidence at the scene to indicate someone was hit.
