CACHE COUNTY -- Divers are searching for a possible drowning victim who went missing Wednesday afternoon in Cache County.
The sheriff's office received a call for help just before 4 p.m. Deputies were told that a 20-year-old man and his friend were attempting to swim across Tony's Grove Lake in Logan Canyon when the man began having some problems and went under the water.
Several people tried to get to the man but were unable to reach him. His friend was able to make it to a canoe where he was pulled from the water.
The sheriff's office search and rescue dive time spent several hours looking for the man but called off the search when it got dark.
Crews plan to resume the search Thursday morning. The lake will be closed to visitors during the search.
