(KSL News) A man accused of building an explosive that severely injured a Utah County boy may be working on a plea deal with prosecutors.
Craig Miller is charged with possessing an explosive device, child abuse and obstruction of justice. Police say he built a homemade explosive device as part of a 24th of July fireworks show.
When it malfunctioned, pieces of shrapnel went flying, and one struck Bridger Hunt, injuring his leg and abdomen.
