(KSL News) A 13-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to charges in the deadly shooting of a Family Dollar store manager in Glendale.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the teenager has pleaded guilty to robbery and homicide charges filed against him in connection with the March murder of 49-year-old Wally Knapton. He was shot and killed during a robbery.
Salt Lake County District Attorney Lohra Miller says the boy could stay in a juvenile detention center until he is 21.
Biu Olive and Sarah Ataata were also charged in connection with the murder. They are expected to appear in court on Aug. 1.
